1. Eligibility for Refunds
- Change of Mind: Donors may request a refund if they change their mind about their donation. Refund requests due to a change of mind must be made within 15 days of the original donation and will be subject to a deduction of [insert applicable percentage] as a processing fee. The deducted amount will cover administrative costs associated with processing the refund.
- Error in Donation: Refunds will be issued for any erroneous, duplicate, or wrongly made donations. If a donation is made in error, the full amount will be refunded promptly upon verification of the error.
- Technical Issues: In the event of technical errors or glitches resulting in a donation, refunds will be processed without any deduction. Our team will investigate the issue and initiate the refund process as soon as possible.
- Fraudulent Activity: If a donation is made due to fraudulent activity, the donor is eligible for a full refund. We take fraudulent activities seriously and will work to rectify such situations promptly.
"Refunds are only applicable for donations made through the bharatkengo web/app platform. Donations made through other channels or platforms are not eligible for refunds through this policy".
2. Timeframe for Refund Requests
- Request Period: Refund requests must be made within 15 days from the date of the original donation. Requests made after this period may not be processed.
- Submission Method: All refund requests must be sent via email to support@bharatkengo.com with the subject line "Refund Request: [Donation Details]".
- Required Information: When submitting a refund request, donors must provide the following information:
- UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) or UPI (Unified Payments Interface) ID
- Date of donation
- Amount of donation
- Reason for the refund request
- Confirmation: Once a refund request is received, a confirmation email will be sent to the donor within 3 business days.
- Review and Verification: Upon receiving a refund request, our team will review the provided documentation and verify the details of the donation.
- Processing Time: The refund process may take between 7 to 30 days from the date of the request. This timeframe includes the review, verification, and processing of the refund.
- Communication: During the refund process, donors will receive email updates regarding the status of their request. If additional information or documentation is required, donors will be contacted promptly.
- Identity Verification: In certain cases, additional identity verification documents may be requested to ensure the security and legitimacy of the refund request.
- Refund Destination: Refunds will be sent to the original source of the donation. For example, if the donation was made via UPI, the refund will be sent to the same UPI ID used for the original donation.
- Refund Confirmation: Once the refund is processed, donors will receive a confirmation email along with any applicable refund details, such as the refunded amount and the method of reimbursement.

- Required Information: When reaching out for support regarding a refund, please include the following details in your email:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Donation details, including UTR or UPI ID, date of donation, and amount
- Response Time: Our support team aims to respond to all refund queries within 2 business days.
- Assistance: Our dedicated support staff are available to provide assistance with any refund-related issues or concerns you may have.
- Policy Inquiries: If you have questions about our refund policy or need clarification on any aspect, please feel free to reach out to us for further information.
- Policy Updates: bharatkengo.com reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or app.
- Notification of Changes: In the event of any amendments to this policy, we will notify users through email or by posting a prominent notice on our website or app. It is the responsibility of users to review the policy periodically for any updates.
- Agreement to Updated Policy: Continued use of the Bharat Ke NGO platform following the implementation of any changes to this refund policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
